“May the LORD reward your work, and your wages be full from the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to seek refuge.”
Ruth 2:12
Here, a foreigner to Israel found herself in a hopeless situation. For all practical purposes, she was considered an alien; she was poor; she was an orphan in a strange land; and she was a widow with very little prospects.
Yet, she came under the Lord’s wings. She sought refuge in the Creator-God of the universe. As a result, she found not only God’s goodness, but His provision. God used a faithful man, Boaz, to dispense both His protection and bounty.
She ran to God—without a solution. She ran. And God provided a way.

- When you find yourself in trying times that may cause anxiety, fear, doubt, anger, and more, where do you run…to whom or to what do you turn?
Run to Jesus Christ in faith. He is not only good, but His resources are inexhaustible. Amen.
