What if–every husband and wife read and prayed the Word of God everyday?
What if–families had regular devotionals with their kids ‘as a family’?
What if–God’s Word was memorized, mediated upon, and made a priority in the rhythms of life?
As a regenerate soul fully indwelt by the Holy Spirit the Christian can know the ancient mysteries of God. The question is, what prevents us from investing our lives in knowing and applying God’s Word to everyday life?
Well, maybe it depends.
Maybe it depends on season of life. Maybe it depends on basic knowledge of the Bible to grasp how the details fit into the whole story. Maybe it depends on time between waking up and getting to work and then going to sleep. Maybe it depends on what interests are tugging at the moment. Maybe it depends on sin that is unconfessed. Maybe it depends on previous commitments. Maybe it depends on…

What does it take for a generation to stand up and say, “MY LIFE DEPENDS ON THE VERY WORD OF GOD, how could you ask what prevents us from investing our lives into His Word?”
