The sky succumbed to the Creator’s will.
Good news forthcoming dissolving all fright.
The hole of aching man now doth fill.
The angels’ resound pierced the darkest night.
Our celebration upon seeing creation’s Lord.
An infant lying lowly in a bed of straw.
The solution to sin’s consequence from all ages stored.
A prophecy sustained in keeping the Law.
Mankind’s redemption no power may repeal.
A widow’s patience and gratitude showed.
Many souls piercing and hearts to reveal.
A light for the nation’s–salvation bestowed.
A new day dawns with purpose and life.
Triumphs and trials are set in their place.
Our hearts untangled and set free from strife.
Now, redeemed and set apart by God’s saving grace.
Glory to God in the highest!
