“To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.”
Psalm 25:1

Though the galaxies and universe spread forth all their temporal haze, it would nevertheless be insufficient to fracture the eternal gaze.

A deeper and more profound look has fixed itself upon me.

Its hold–inexorable–will not cease to be.

My response?

Stillness.

Quiet.

Focus.

My soul shall I lift to Him alone.

In this act of devotion the Knower in His mysterious revealing is known.

Transformation itself now displays, through the raising of a life set forth to praise.

When at once it was lost to superfluous pondering, it now too has ceased from its fruitless wandering.

The indeterminate possibilities themselves laid to bear, that in knowing one is known and its soul apprehended in care.

And so it is, as souls are lifted to the Lord alone, the deeper realities in their time are sublimely shown.

“The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our sons forever, that we may observe all the words of this law.”
Deuteronomy 29:29
